From Vision to Foundation: How Designed by Sisterhood Was Born

Designed by Sisterhood did not begin as a nonprofit. It began as a feeling. A quiet but persistent knowing that women needed more than motivation posts and surface-level networking. We needed spaces where we could show up as we are, learn without judgment, grow without competition, and build something meaningful together.

What started as intentional gatherings and conversations slowly revealed a bigger truth. Women were not just looking for connection. They were looking for access, education, support, and community that did not disappear after a call/event ended.

Behind the scenes, this vision grew through real moments. Conversations after workshops. Messages from women saying they felt seen for the first time. Attendees returning not because they needed another business card, but because they felt safe, supported, and inspired. These moments made it clear that Designed by Sisterhood was becoming more than a brand or a community. It was becoming a mission.

The transition into Designed by Sisterhood Foundation was not about scaling for visibility. It was about sustainability and impact. It was about creating a structure that allowed us to serve women intentionally, ethically, and long-term. A foundation meant we could expand educational programming, host accessible workshops, create scholarship opportunities, and reinvest directly into the women we serve.

This foundation was built with heart and responsibility. Every decision was rooted in one question: How does this truly support women? Not just today, but tomorrow and beyond.

Designed by Sisterhood Foundation exists to remove barriers, build confidence through education, and foster community that uplifts rather than competes. We believe empowerment happens when women have access to resources, guidance, and spaces where their voices matter.

This is not a story of overnight success. It is a story of listening, learning, and honoring the women who showed up before there was a formal foundation. Their trust shaped this mission. Their needs shaped this work.

As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same. To serve with integrity. To build with purpose. And to ensure that every woman who connects with this foundation knows she belongs here.

This is only the beginning.
